2024 BRIDGES Application

Applicant Information
Applications will be accepted only through this online process. The application must be completed in one sitting and the following documents must be ready to upload during the application process:
  1. a two-page resume/curriculum vita summary
  2. two reference letters
  3. essay
Please provide your complete university/college mailing address, including Campus Box and Mail Stop information if applicable.

Please provide your complete department name (for example: the Department of Chemistry, not just Chemistry).

The completed application, resume/curriculum vita summary (two-page limit), essay, and two reference letters must be received by May 15.  Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.

References
Two letters of recommendation are required, one of which must be from your institution. Letters are not confidential and must accompany the application. The admissions committee is interested in understanding how you believe the applicant will benefit from BRIDGES. We ask that you address the following:
  • How long and in what capacity have you known the applicant?
  • What leadership areas do you believe the applicant has room for growth?
  • What leadership areas do you believe the applicant has great strength in?

Letters are not confidential and must accompany the application.

Essay
