NonProfit Management and the MPA: A UNC MPA Special Topics Webinar

Are you interested in pursuing or advancing your career in nonprofit management administration?  Are you curious about what a career in nonprofit administration looks like?  Are you considering graduate school and the MPA program?

We invite you to attend our special information targeting the area of nonprofit managmenet and the Masters of Public Administration program at UNC.  We will be joined by a panel of current students and alum who will be sharing their career journey and talking about the benefits of the MPA.

Topics covered will be:
  • What does a career in nonprofit management look like in the current state?
  • How do you start a career in nonprofit management?
  • What are some truths and myths about working in nonprofit?
  • How the MPA at UNC offers support in the area of nonprofit work?
  • The MPA as a degree choice for those wanting to start or advance their careers in nonprofit management.
Panelists include:

Kimberly Monroe - UNC MPA Alum, Program Manager, Community Engagement, Duke University Health System

Claire Kern - UNC MPA Current Student, Intern at The Ascend Fund, Panorama

Bob Herleth - UNC MPA Alum, Retired Vice President, Missouri Botanical Garden

Adam Myers - UNC MPA Current Student, Program Coordinator, Church World Service

The panel will be facilitated by Cara Robinson, Director of Admissions.
