Overview
Experience Gilling allows PhD, MS, MSEE, and MSPH admitted students an opportunity to learn more about the program, the School, the University, and life in Chapel Hill. You will meet and network with faculty, staff, current students, and your future classmates. We are excited to welcome you to campus to learn more about what makes UNC Gillings the #1 public School of Public Health.

12:30 pm – 2:30 pm Department Sessions and Lunch

Department Sessions provide you with the opportunity to meet with faculty, staff, and current students. Through a combination of formal presentations and informal conversations, you will learn in depth program information, opportunities to collaborate with faculty and classmates. We hope that you take the time to ask all of your questions.

Lunch will be provided during your concentration session.

12:30 pm – 1:30 pm Supporting Your Graduate Student

Guests of prospective students are invited to join us for an informal panel discussion on how to support your graduate student.

2:30 pm – 4:00 pm “Living in Chapel Hill” Information Table, Office of Student Affairs Staff, and Graduate Resources Reception

University offices will be available to provide information and answer questions on how to make the transition to life in Chapel Hill.

2:00 pm – 3:00 pm Tour of the Gillings School of Global Public Health Facilities
